Tests for students
For students, the testing service includes such subjects as Keyboarding, Word Processing, Computing, Bookkeeping, Communication and Office Practice. See Student examinations and regulations.
Students are entered for CESA exams by their teachers. The Society sends the test material to those teachers, who conduct the tests at their own school or college and return the worked papers to the society for assessment. See Entry Form A. - Adobe Acrobat Reader pdf format
Tests for teachers
For teachers, a CESA Diploma to teach specific skills is widely accepted by employers.
Examinations for teachers are conducted at locations and under supervision nominated by the candidate and approved by the Society. See Entry Form E - Adobe Acrobat Reader pdf format. Also see Examination regulations for teacher examinations and Teacher examination specifications.
Examination dates
The Society has released the test dates for 2008. The Society also caters for special examinations for candidates who want to sit for a student-level test on dates of their own choosing.
Note that candidates for a teaching qualification must sit on the dates scheduled by the Society. All teacher examinations consist of three written papers. Normally, the first two papers are offered mid year. The third is offered towards year end. See Examination Schedule for 2008 and Entry Form E - Adobe Acrobat Reader pdf format.
